Sydney, July 2 – It was business as usual on Wednesday for Australia’s leading first season sire I Am Invincible, who posted another metropolitan winner when Uratta Belle broke through for a well-deserved victory at Warwick Farm.

Placed or around the money in her six previous runs, Uratta Belle gained Black Type when second in the Listed Woodlands Stakes at Scone in May, so it was only a matter of time before the cards fell her way for a win.

Sent out favourite for the 1300 metre maiden, the Kylie Gavenlock trained filly surged clear to win by three-quarters of a length and has now won over $80,000 in prizemoney.

“There’s not a lot of her but she tries her heart out. She’s been beaten by some very nice horses in good races,” Kylie Gavenlock said.

“We’ve never taken her to the races without her giving 110 percent.”

A modest $10,000 Inglis Classic purchase from the Murrulla Stud draft, Uratta Belle is the first winner for placed Commands mare Littoral, a half-sister to Group II placed Palais from the family of Group I winner Belle Chanson.

Uratta Belle is the 17th winner first crop winner (two in New Zealand) for I Am Invincible, who has had a fee increase and will cover a full book at Yarraman Park at a fee of $27,500.
