I Am Invincible clocked up his 20th Australia two year-old winner of the season at Morphettville on Saturday with an easy victory for Abu Dhabi, a $90,000 Inglis Premier purchase from the Yarraman Park draft.

Fourth on debut back in January, the Lloyd Kennewell trained youngster was second at his first run back from a spell and showed the benefit of that outing when he forged clear to win the 1050 metre open juvenile event by a length and a half.

Bred by Rod and Rachel Northam, Abu Dhabi is the first foal of Dubai Fling, a minor winner by Dubai Destination (USA) from the Group I winning Danehill mare Kissing Cousin. His win will come as good news for his breeders as Dubai Fling also has a weanling filly by I Am Invincible.

I Am Invincible has had an outstanding season with his juveniles and is second to only Snitzel on the leading 2YO Sires List by winners, his progeny headed by Group II winner Look to the Stars.

He also has the best juvenile in Singapore in the shape of unbeaten colt Super One, so it’s been a great follow up season for a stallion that was crowned Champion Australian First Season Sire in 2013/2014.
