The $1million Group 1 ATC Golden Rose is coming up on September 12 at Rosehill and while Yarraman Park sires Hinchinbrook, I Am Invincible and Magic Albert only have one entry each, they are three youngsters that all have a genuine shot at success.

The fortunes of Hinchinbrook rest with his star son Press Statement, who finished his juvenile season unbeaten with three wins in as many starts culminating with a Group I victory in the BRC JJ Atkins Stakes.

His trainer Chris Waller has won the Golden Rose previously with Zoustar, who was a close second in the BRC JJ Atkins Stakes, so he will know exactly how to get him there on the day in top form.

I Am Invincible will have his star filly Look to the Stars as his representative and she’s already a Group II winner of the BRC Sires Produce Stakes and was last seen finishing third to Press Statement in the BRC JJ Atkins.

The Clarry Conners trained filly is tough and classy with the residual fitness of a Brisbane winter campaign.

Magic Albert has his highest priced yearling ever sold in Mawahibb as his entry and his most recent win at Moonee Valley was nothing short of spectacular.

A half-brother to Golden Slipper winner Mossfun prepared by her trainer in Team Hawkes, Mawahibb has obvious talent and is in the right stable for that talent to come to fruition.
