July 8 – Entries are closed for the 2015 Group I $3.5 million ATC Golden Slipper with Yarraman Park’s young gun sires I Am Invincible and Hinchinbrook prominent with 43 and 37 entries respectively.

Soon to be crowned Australian Champion First Season Sire for 2013/2014, I Am Invincible looks to have a strong hand with so many of his lovely youngsters entered including his top selling yearling of 2014.

The star filly from Zelady that fetched $440,000 at Magic Millions for Yarraman Park on behalf of her breeder Jilly Henderson has been entered by leading Adelaide trainer Phillip Stokes.

Also entered are colts from Orange Marmalade and Sunset Boulevard that both made $260,000 at Magic Millions.

The first stock of Hinchinbrook have greatly impressed during the breaking in process and we’re not surprised to see that he is the equal most represented first season sire along with Star Witness.

Among his Golden Slipper entries is his top selling colt from Belle Amici that made $250,000 for Yarraman Park and has been entered by Gai Waterhouse, who has a further four rising two year-olds by Hinchinbrook entered for the world’s richest juvenile event.

Our stalwart sire Magic Albert is not without a Slipper interest and has 22 entries including the half-brother to this year’s Golden Slipper winner Mossfun that made $750,000 to the bid of Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Maktoum.

Nominated by Hawkes Racing, he is the most expensive yearling by Magic Albert ever sold.
