South Africa,  – Scoring his second stakes victory in the Group III Tony Ruffell Stakes at Turffontein in South Africa on Saturday was talented Magic Albert three year-old colt Suyoof, a $150,000 Inglis Easter Session II purchase from the Yarraman Park draft. Trained by Mike de Kock, the Shadwell owned Suyoof won the 1450 metre contest by half a length and has the imposing record of three wins and a second from just four starts Bred by Yarraman in partnership, Suyoof is the fourth winner from stakes-placed Danehill Dancer (IRE) mare Magic Harmony and is a half-brother to spring Group III winner Charmed Harmony. On-sold at the Inglis Broodmare Sale in 2013 where she fetched $120,000 to the bid of Belmont Bloodstock, Magic Harmony comes from the family of Golden Slipper winner Overreach and Blue Diamond winner Reward for Effort. Suyoof is one of 21stakes-winners for Yarraman Park’s stalwart sire Magic Albert, who has 14 entries for Inglis Classic.
