Hong Kong, September 15 – The new Hong Kong racing season kicked off at Sha Tin on Sunday with talented Magic Albert sprinter Bundle of Joy resuming from a break to score a stylish victory.

The David Hall trained five year-old scored an easy length and a half win over 1000 metres in the Class Two sprint, clocking a brisk 56.79 seconds.

Ultra consistent, Bundle of Joy has won five races and placed seven times from 15 starts in Hong Kong.

Bundle of Joy was a $36,000 Inglis Scone Select purchase for John Foote Bloodstock from the draft of Middlebrook Station Thoroughbreds and is the first foal of Mr Henrysee (USA) mare Lady Starstruck, a grand-daughter of Group III AJC Gimcrack Stakes winner Screen Idol.
