– Scoring a well-deserved first win at Sha Tin on Saturday was Magic Albert four year-old Magical Beauty, a $140,000 Inglis Easter purchase from the Yarraman Park draft for the Hong Kong Jockey Club. Trained by Tony Cruz, Magical Beauty had never finished further back than fourth in five previous starts and finally out it all together to win over 1400 metres by half a length. Ridden forward from a wide gate, Magical Beauty relished being up on the pace and can assuredly be winning more races. He is the second winner for Romany Flyer, a three-quarter sister by Catbird to Group III winner Viking Hero from the family of Group I winners Innocent King, Unearthly and Invest. The current yearling from Romany Flyer is a filly by I Am Invincible that will be offered by Yarraman Park at Magic Millions in January as Lot 550.
