Leading Hunter Valley nursery Yarraman Park are in Melbourne for the 2015 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale and their draft of nine yearlings includes a lovely Hinchinbrook filly that had a significant pedigree update on Wednesday.

Lot 513, a filly by Hinchinbrook from Shine on Anna is a half-brother to handy three year-old Annaman, who broke through to score his first win over 1600 metres on Wednesday at Ipswich for Prime Thoroughbreds.

Annaman is the first winner for well-bred Anabaa (USA) mare Shine on Anna, who comes from a European family featuring rising Godolphin star Contributer (IRE), who looks set to play a major role for the John O’Shea stable during the Sydney Autumn Carnival and runs this Saturday at Warwick Farm in the Group I ATC Chipping Norton Stakes.

Yarraman Park’s young sire Hinchinbrook accounts for five yearlings in the draft and the young son of Fastnet Rock has made a fine start to his stud career and is currently second to only Beneteau on the leading Australian First Season Sire List.
