New Zealand, November 20 – Two year-olds by Yarraman Park based sires Magic Albert and Hinchinbrook proved very popular at the 2015 NZB Ready to Run Sale in New Zealand this week providing sensational results for their vendors.

Magic Albert is a great favourite with the Hong Kong market and his three entries were all bought for that destination at an average price of $200,000 making him the third leading sire by average at this sale behind only Exceed and Excel and Savabeel.

Leading trainer Ricky Yiu bought his top seller, a colt from Catbird mare Inaname for $230,000, while youngsters from Free Spirited and Nephtys made $220,000 and $150,000.

The colt from Inaname was a terrific pinhook for Prima Park bought for just $65,000 from the Yarraman Park draft at Inglis Easter Session II.

The colt from Free Spirited was also a star pinhook for Lyndhurst Farm plucked from the Tyreel Stud draft at the same sale for the same amount, $65,000, while the third youngster from Nephtys was also a pinhook winner for Kilgravin Lodge, sourced from the Torryburn draft at Inglis Classic Summer Book Sale for $46,000.

Hinchinbrook, whose oldest progeny are just two year-olds, had three youngsters sell at an average $128,333, his best result a colt from Truly Kissed that made $230,000 for Prima Park when bought by Mr J Shih of Hong Kong.

He is the second foal of Truly Kissed, a half-sister by Carnegie (IRE) to Group II winner Vormista and showed real talent with a comfortable breeze in 10.45 seconds.

The colt was a highly successful pinhook having been bought by Michael Wallace Bloodstock from the Supreme Thoroughbreds draft at the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale for $110,000.

Hinchinbrook also had a colt from Laebeel and a gelding from Pura Seta sell for $80,000 and $75,000 respectively.
